Tata Chemicals to set up new manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu

Tata Group's chemical business arm, Tata Chemicals, has plans to develop a new greenfield manufacturing facility at Valinokkam in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu. The firm will invest Rs 515 crores on the project that will be used for the production of Iodised Vacuum Salt Dried (IVSD).

The proposed plant will have an installed capacity of 210 kilo tonnes per annum (KTPA).

    Joyville Shapoorji plans to develop plans to develop row houses in Howrah

Shapoorji Pallonji's housing arm, Joyville Shapoorji Housing, has announced the launch of Shapoorji Pallonji One Estate. The project, spread over 8 acres, will be a collection of premium row houses within its integrated 30-acre gated development, Joyville Howrah.

It will feature 180 premium row houses that combine the privacy of standalone homes with the safety, convenience, and shared benefits of a modern gated development.

    Standard Chartered sells off its Mumbai office

British multinational banking firm, Standard Chartered Bank, has sold its office in the commercial tower Parinee Crescenzo in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The office has a chargeable area of 28,516 sq ft and a carpet area of 27,003 sq ft, along with 27 car parking slots.

As per The Economic Times, Advanced Realty for Rs 197 crore at a rate of around Rs 69,084 per sq ft on the chargeable area.

    ACME Solar bags order from SECI

Renewable energy firm ACME Solar has bagged an order from the government-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). The order is for 301/1,204 megawatt hour firm and dispatchable renewable energy project.

As per the firm, it bagged the order through an e-reverse auction conducted by SECI. The order involves the supply of 4 MWh per MW of contracted capacity for any four hours each day, only during the non-solar hours, while ensuring availability of 70 percent on a monthly and 85 percent on an annual basis.

    YEIDA allocates 10 acres land to Shukra Pharma in Greater Noida

Pharmaceutical firm, Shukra Pharmaceuticals Limited, has been allocated 10 acres of land in the Medical Device Park, Greater Noida. The firm has received a letter of intent from the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) for the land.

The firm will invest Rs 600 crores to develop a plan that will produce advanced surgical robotics and BNCT technology. The firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Borns Medical Robotics Inc. to bring surgical robotics technology to India

    Orders worth over Rs 271 crores bagged by NBCC

Public sector firm, NBCC (India) Limited, has bagged orders worth Rs 271.32 crores. An order worth Rs 232.13 crores has been bagged from the Department of Fisheries, Uttarakhand. The order is related to the construction of a Namami Ganga Aquarium-cum-Discovery Learning Centre at Pashulok, Rishikesh.

Another order worth Rs 39 crores is from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), Delhi. This order is for the construction of chapter buildings at Chandigarh, Ranchi, Baroda, a Headquarters Building at Lodhi Road, New Delhi, and a Centre of Excellence (COE) building in Jaipur.

    Leighton India bags order for integrated township from Elan Group

CIMIC group firm Leighton India has bagged an order from real estate firm Elan Group. The order worth Rs 1,000 crores is for the integrated township project named Elan The Mark. Spread over 50-plus acres, the project is located at Sector 106, Dwarka Expressway, Gurugram. 

The project will feature a blend of retail, commercial, residential, and hospitality. Elan Group issues a Letter of Intent (LoI) to Leighton India.

    Atul Projects launches phase 1 of its residential project in Mumbai

Real estate developer Atul Projects has announced the launch of phase 1 of the 3-phase project named Hillfront. The project located in Mulund West, Mumbai, is spread over 4.26 acres of land.

Phase 1 of the project comprises a 47-storey residential tower containing wings A and B, a total of 632 units are being offered with a range of well-planned 2 and 3-bed residences. The total project area is 9.5 acres, with an additional 0.8 Acres of land allocated to Billabong High International School.

    REC Power floats tender related to green hydrogen project

Government-owned REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has floated a tender inviting bids for setting up an interstate transmission system (ISTS) to evacuate power from 5 GW of green hydrogen/ammonia projects in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

As per the tender, the scope of work covers the establishment of a 4×1,500 MVA, 765/400 kV GIS substation at Pendurthi, with 1×330 MVAr (765 kV) bus reactor and space provision for a 220 kV switchyard. The last date for bid submission is April 7th, 2026.

    Apollo Tyres plans capacity expansion to invest over Rs 5,800 crores in Andhra Pradesh

Tyre manufacturer, Apollo Tyres, has plans to expand capacity at its manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The firm will invest Rs 5,810 crore in the process, which will be a mix of internal accruals and debt.

The expansion is projected to add 3.7 million PCR tyres and 1.3 million TBR tyres per annum, taking total capacity from 7.1 million to 10.8 million PCR tyres and from 1.6 million to 2.9 million TBR tyres annually.

  •   Swan Defence bags export order from Oman

    Ship manufacturer, Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited (SDHI), has bagged an order from the Government of the Sultanate of Oman to supply a training ship. The ship will support the Royal Navy of Oman’s (RNO) advanced naval training and maritime operations. 

    The ship measures 104.25 m in length, with a beam of 13.88 m, and a displacement of up to 3500 tonnes is expected to be delivered in 18 months.
